I’ve been wanting a bike for some time now, and today (well actually yesterday) the opportunity presented itself. I found a new 2006 Kona Kikapu at The Path bike shop yesterday, and picked it up today. Going riding tonight around my apartment, and possibly tomorrow with some friends from work.

I spent way too much on this thing, and honestly, it was probably the cheapest bike at that particular bike shop, but I’m very excited about it. It’s a present to myself for my 3 month anniversary in California, or something like that. Now off to Target to grab some supplies!

My sister was here this weekend for a wedding in Malibu, and from what I hear it was a true Malibu affair, including an ocean front reception that was worthy of all the hype. The timing worked out well for her as she just stopped here for the weekend on her way to Manila for work.
